====== Free a NS2 demo ======

Here is the demonstration executed during the [[http://2011.rmll.info|RMLL 2011]] for the presentation "[[http://2011.rmll.info/Liberez-vos-NAS-avec-lacie-nas-org|Free your NAS with lacie-nas.org]]".

The objective is to fully replace the embedded LaCie firmware with **mainline free software**. The only constraint is to keep the product warranty in effect. As a consequence, the case cannot be opened: It means no serial or JTAG interfaces. Instead, the **netconsole** is used.
